Palliative Care ACT Fundraising Dinner 2016

End2End Events designed and styled Palliative Care ACT Fundraising Dinner held at Southern Cross Club Woden. The centrepiece design was inspired by butterflies a sign of metamorphosis which is symbolically associated with radical changes in human lives, with death perceived as a possibility for renewal. Palliative care, in its theoretical philosophy and applied practice, assists and eases this process of change in the lives of patients and their families, without denying the death, pain nor suffering experienced by the elderly during an advanced disease. The Aqua Blue Centrepiece Colour palette was designed to depict the life of a butterfly from conception, transformation and setting free, which was combined with elements from nature and black and white tones.

Cacoon created by end2end hung in the corner of the room covered in butterflies as part of the fundraising activities available on the night. To top things off a hand painted a blue butterfly with a message at the back noting the care and support provided by end2end events to Palliative Care ACT completed the centrepiece designer look. The dinner was very successful in raising much-needed funds to support those with life-limiting illnesses in The ACT and surrounding region.
