Let’s Play Barbie Marbie’s 40th Celebration

When you work in Special Events its All about creating memorable moments and sharing it with family and friends and Marwa or Marbie’s 40th celebration of life was just that and more!

Thanks to the fabulous ‘Marbie Team’ who helped make this event possible, to our fabulous photographer Magical Boudoir Melbourne for capturing those moments. To The Diverse Barbie Girls and Ken for running the night and ensuring everyone had fun. The Theme was an 80s retro theme built on Marwa’s favourite childhood Toy – Barbie. So Pink was a Big on the agenda, so was Purple and Gold! And that showed in the make-up application by Nadia

The event was set in a way to encourage attendees to embrace their diversity by dressing-up in their own version of Barbie whilst tapping into Mattel’s Barbie Fashionista range. The night was a celebration of Fashion and Diversity and a way to encourage and create new Friendships through Play with some popular diverse tunes by Midnight DJ and Photobooth. A ‘ Real Barbie and Friends – Fashion Runway ‘ hosted by Nina Gbor of ‘ Style by Nina Gbor ‘ and a fabulous surprise belly-dancing performance by Bella of Rouge Oriental Dance Studio and some fabulous free-flowing substantial American-Style Party food like Burgers, Cheese in Cones, Mini Hot-dogs and Pizza catered by The Casa Besta Team

The Event was held at Ellis Street Studio an intimate hidden event space in South Yarra, Melbourne. And of course there was a lot of cake and dessert by some fabulous Melbourne suppliers like Burnt Butter, Bistro Morgan and Bibelot and a Marbie Themed Dessert Station designed and curated by the Birthday girl, Marwa Rida of End2End Events.

Thank you to everyone who made this night special. Here’s to another 40 years of bringing people together and changing lives!
