For the first time in 28 years, Egypt made it into the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and we might have got a little bit too excited! This year, the World Cup is being hosted by Russia, and it kicked off on the 14 June with a brilliant opening ceremony.
We held a small event for the Egyptian community in Canberra, recreating the atmosphere as you would experience it if you were attending a match in Egypt. It was great fun, with face painting, food, drinks, and plenty of End2End style, held at a boutique Canberra owned and operated Boutique Hotel – East Hotel in Kingston.

Even though Egypt did Not win the match that night, the atmosphere created ensured all attendees young and young at heart had a fabulous time!
